Project Basics

How do I get a quote?

The fastest way is to request a quote — it takes a few minutes and tells us exactly what you need. You can also email us at info@sundownprintco.com or book a call.

What's your minimum order?

It depends on the product. Screen-printed shirts start at 12, and lower quantities are possible with DTF or DTG. Request a quote and we'll confirm the minimum for your project.

Do you do one-off samples?

For apparel, we can sometimes do a sample run. For print, we work off digital proofs — physical samples add lead time and cost. Ask us and we'll let you know what's possible for your product.

Can you handle both design and printing?

Yes. If you have print-ready files, we get straight to production. If you have brand assets and need layout help, we can assist. If you need full design from scratch, we can do that too — it adds to the timeline and cost.

Files & Design

What file formats do you accept?

PDF, AI, EPS, and high-res PNG/TIFF (300dpi+) are all fine. For apparel, vector files (AI or EPS) give us the best results. We'll let you know if something needs to be re-prepared.

What does 'print-ready' mean?

Print-ready means your file is set up at the right size, resolution (300dpi minimum), with bleed if needed, and in CMYK colour mode. If you're not sure, send us what you have and we'll check it.

Can I use a design I found online or from another shop?

You need to own the rights to anything we print. If you're using a licensed design, have that documentation handy. We won't print work that infringes on copyright.

Production

What's your standard lead time?

Most projects are 2–4 weeks from proof approval. Screen printing takes longer than digital print. Large or complex kits take longer than single items. We'll give you a specific date when we quote.

Do you offer rush production?

Yes, on most products. Rush adds a surcharge (typically 20–40%) and is subject to capacity. Tell us your hard deadline upfront — we'll tell you if we can hit it.

How many proofs do I get?

Standard tier includes one digital proof round. Premium includes two. Showcase (letterpress, foil, etc.) includes extended proofing because the setup is more involved. Extra rounds beyond your tier are billable.

Delivery & Payment

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes. We ship Canada-wide. Local pickup in Calgary, AB is also available and free.

How do I pay?

We accept e-transfer, major credit cards, and cheque (for established accounts). Deposits are typically 50% up front, balance on delivery.

What if something is wrong with my order?

We stand behind our work. If there's a production error on our end, we'll reprint it. If the issue is due to approved files or specs, we'll work with you to find the best resolution.
